Overview
The Travis County Juvenile Probation Department (TCJPD) is comprised of multiple divisions that provide resources for the youth that come through our system. Starting at their intake into the facility and continuing throughout their time and even after they leave our facility. Select a division below for more information on the incredible work they do.
Court Services and Probation:
Probation and Court Services provide supervision to juveniles and programs that serve both pre-and post-adjudicated youth and families in the community. JPOs support families with linkage to social services resources to address family basic needs and encourage treatment engagement throughout a youth’s involvement with the department.
Racial and Social Justice
The Racial and Social Justice team is dedicated to advancing initiatives for youth, families, employees, and victims involved with the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department.
Domestic Relations:
The Domestic Relations Office (DRO) acts as the Family Law division of TCJPD on the behalf of the Travis County Juvenile Board. DRO provides services to families in cases of separation, divorce, termination of parental rights, adoption, and enforcement of court orders.
Facilities Operations:
Facilities Operations consist of Maintenance and Repair, Custodial Services, Food Services, as well as an on-site Warehouse.
Health Services:
The Health Services division includes an array of professionals working to support the medical and mental health needs of departmentally involved juveniles and families. Health Services includes Medical Services, Assessment Services, Treatment & Counseling, and the Travis County Psychology Internship Training Program.
Social Services:
Supports youth with programs and resources to help address each youth's individual needs. Their work is vital to providing youth with what they need for success after their time at TCJPD.
Secure Programs:
The Jean Meurer Intermediate Sanctions Center (ISC) provides secure services for post-adjudicated juvenile delinquents and juvenile offenders. Within this facility we hope to provide them with any support that is needed.
