Domestic Relations Office

The Domestic Relations Office (DRO) acts as the Family Law division of TCJPD on behalf of the Travis County Juvenile Board. DRO provides services to families in cases of separation, divorce, termination of parental rights, adoption, and enforcement of court orders. (Directions)

Integrated Child Support Services

Provides child support enforcement, including administrative remedies and court actions in cases where child support or medical support is unpaid.

 

Family Court Services

Consists of staff appointed by the District Courts to be Guardian Ad Litems. Providing recommendations to the Court, they represent the children’s best interest in custody disputes that may occur in divorce, modifications, adoptions, or termination of parental rights cases.

 

Community Supervision Services

Provides monitoring services on Office of the Attorney General cases to enforce child support and medical support orders. Non-custodial parents (probationers) are provided with the necessary tools and resources to find and maintain employment and ensure children of Travis County receive financial support.

 

Visitation Dispute Resolution Program

Assists parents with conflict resolution arising from child visitation access and possession issues.

 

Cooperative Parenting Program

Provides a free, comprehensive nine-hour series of co-parenting classes which focus on the needs of children and parents in the aftermath of separation or divorce.
